How Do You Make Potato Ole Seasoning Similar To Taco Johns?

Makes your tater tots taste like Potato Oles. Prepare your tater tots or round hash browns as directed on the package. They taste the most authentic if you deep fry them, but baking them works pretty well too. (I always bake mine to save a few calories.) While cooking your tater tots or hash browns, prepare the seasoning. In a small bowl, combine 1 teaspoon Lawry’s Seasoned Salt, 1/4 teaspoon cumin, and 1/8 teaspoon paprika. Mix ingredients together and put in a shaker (like a salt shaker). You can also just sprinkle it on with your fingers, but it is more difficult to get it evenly distributed over the tater tots that way. After tater tots are cooked, immediately sprinkle the seasoning on them. Enjoy! This is also a good seasoning to use for taco meat. Just make a larger amount. I also use this in marinades for fajitas.
