Are you in desperate need of a new family dish? Make Potato Chip Casserole! You can make it as bland as you want for the kids, or spice it up to satisfy your husband. Preheat the oven. It should be set at 350 degrees. Brown the ground beef in a non-stick frying pan. The basic recipe is 1 pound of ground beef. However, if you are meat-eaters like my family, use 2 pounds instead. Season meat if desired. While you are browning the meat, bring 2 quarts of water to a boil in a pot. Add salt it desired. Add the twisted egg noodles and return to a boil. Cook uncovered for 7 to 8 minutes, or until tender, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and drain. This step is completely optional. You can choose what vegetables you would like to add to the casserole, if any. Occasionally, I add carrots, potatoes, onions, and celery.
