How Do You Make Pot Scrubbers From Nylon Netting?

0

Nylon pot scrubbers are a necessity in any kitchen for scrubbing baked and cooked-on food from cookware and pots and pans. They’re also effective for removing fuzz and pet hair from upholstered furniture and drapery. These scrubbers are available at many stores, but making your own pot scrubbers from nylon netting is a fast and easy project that might be fun to try. Cut the nylon netting into three equal parts (each 6 inches wide). Place one piece onto a work surface. Layer the other two pieces on top of the first and align all edges and corners. Thread the needle with an 18-inch length of dental floss and knot the end. Stitch a line down the center of all three pieces of netting with long stitches. Turn and stitch back the other way along the same stitching line. Hold the needle tightly and pull the stitches to create a piece of bunched netting. Wrap the excess dental floss several times around the center of the netting where you stitched. Tie a knot and clip the excess dental floss.
