Most people enjoy receiving greeting cards that are out of the ordinary, such as pop-up or pull-out cards. Moving cards such as these will surprise and delight their receivers, and can add excitement to any celebratory event or holiday. Although you could buy a premade pop-up or pull-out card at a store, it can be more exciting to create your own handmade moving card using a few craft materials that can be found at any art supply store. Cut out a shape from construction paper that you want to be pulled out or to pop out of the card. You can make the shape anything that you wish, such as a balloon, animal, heart or smiley face. Glue the shape onto a construction paper rectangle that is roughly 1 inch wide by 4 inches long. Fold a sheet of construction paper in half widthwise. Fold a second sheet of paper in half widthwise.
