How Do You Make Pop-Up Cards For Kids?
Crafting with your kids is a great way to bring the family together. If you are preparing for a big birthday party or need to send out thank-you cards, help your child design his own pop-up card. Pop-up cards are relatively simple to make and only require a few basic crafting tools. Handcrafting his own pop-up cards will let your child express his creativity, encourage family bonding and allow him to take pride in something he created with his own hands. Take two pieces of construction paper and stack them on top of one another. Make sure the edges are aligned. Fold the two pieces in the center so that the short ends of the paper touch each other. Remove the inside sheet of construction paper and cut four slits down from the fold. Keep the slits at only a few inches. Set the outside sheet aside.
