It is hard to play pool and win if you are playing with a damaged pool cue. Pool cues that are used only in one place would be mounted on a wall rack, but if you are going to be taking your pool cue with you, you need a case to protect it. Making your own pool case based on a drawstring tote bag is less expensive than purchasing a manufactured one, and it gives you a chance to express your individuality and bragging rights when you say you made it yourself. Measure the length of the pool cue using a yardstick, then measure the PVC pipe to the same length. Cut the pipe straight across using a handsaw. If you have decided to apply the optional PVC cap as an end piece, place it in the end of the pipe. It should fit tightly. Temporarily set this aside until the fabric cover is completed. Add 12 inches to the length of the pipe you just cut to get the length of the fabric piece. Measure a 7.5-inch strip that runs the length of the fabric.
