First stir the first 3 ingredients together in your saucepan over medium heat. You want to keep stirring, you don’t want it to burn. Use your thermometer to make sure the mixture gets to 320 degrees. Now, as the candy is reaching the correct temperature, you need to get this ready. Put your wooden spoons over the edge of the counter and spray the handles with cooking spray so they are non stick. Place something heavy on the spoon part to hold them down. You just want the handles to hang over the edge of the counter. Place newspaper on the floor underneath, it will be messy.
