How Do You Make Pina Colada Drinks?
The precise origins of the pina colada are unknown, but it has become one of the most popular tropical cocktails, regardless of the destination. They are especially easy to enjoy on the beach or a cruise ship. The official recipe for a pina colada developed by the International Bartenders Association includes equal parts rum and coconut cream, mixed with pineapple juice and blended (see Resources below). Get yourself a blender and some cocktail glasses, and you will be enjoying pina coladas in no time. Step 1 Plug a clean blender into the nearest outlet and add 1 cup of crushed ice in the blender. Step 2 Pour 1 oz. of white rum in the blender. A pina colada will taste best when it’s made with a high-quality rum, but any rum will do. Step 3 Add 1 oz. of coconut cream as well.
