This is the best peanut butter fudge and it’s easy to make. Measure out 3 cups of sugar, 1 cup of milk and a dash of salt into a Dutch oven and mix completely. Put on medium heat and stir occasionally. Meanwhile, get pan ready and set aside, then prepare other ingredients- see step 2. Measure out 1 1/2 cups of peanut butter, 1/2 butter and 1 tsp of vanilla into a small bowl and set aside. Put cold water into a see-through glass and set aside. *Be sure to stir milk and sugar mixture occasionally while doing this step. When the sugar and milk mixture starts to boil, stir constantly and watch closely. If it starts getting thick and changing to an off white color (almost tan), it’s just about ready. Keep stirring and quickly drop off spoon into the cold water glass (previously set aside) and check for soft ball stage. When it reaches the soft ball stage, quickly add the peanut butter, butter and vanilla from the bowl, previously set aside, until all is mixed well. Quickly pour into greased
