How Do You Make Perfect Iced Tea?
There is nothing better on a hot summer day, than a tall icy glass of tea. All of us tea drinkers know that even with some of the most expensive brands, you may still be left with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Fear not, fellow tea drinkers, because I’m about to pass on the secret to cutting that bitterness. Add Baking Soda to the pitcher. Pour the boiling water into the pitcher. Add the teabags to the pitcher. Cover and let the tea steep for ten minutes. Remove teabags, but do not squeeze the excess water out of the tea bags. Add sugar, to taste. For very sweet tea, use 1 cup of sugar. For moderately sweet tea, use 1/2 cup of sugar. Stir until dissolved. Add the cold water and stir. Refrigerate until cold or pour over ice.
