How Do You Make Peppermint Lip Gloss?
Slick on some homemade, minty red lip gloss to get soft, fabulous lips.This simple recipe uses beeswax, almond oil and vitamin E–all great lip moisturizers. Add honey and a few drops of peppermint oil, and you have a delicious treat. Fill a saucepan with 1 1/2 cups of water. Heat the water to a boil. Reduce to a simmer. Put beeswax and almond oil in a glass jar. Stand the jar in the hot water. The water should cover half the jar. Stir mixture until it’s fully melted together. Remove from heat. Add honey and vitamin E to the mixture. Whisk together. Add in a very small amount of red lipstick and stir. The lipstick will add a red tint; add lipstick until you get the color you want. Pour into lip gloss pot. Let it cool. To apply, use finger or a lip brush.
