How Do You Make Peppermint Bark Candy?
Peppermint Bark is a traditional and quintessential Christmas treat for the Holiday Season! This delicious treat is easy to make and can be enjoyed by the young and old alike. It can be made with white, milk or dark chocolate. Make all three for gift giving with pretty Christmas packaging! It’s good to eat alone or place on top of cupcakes as well. Enjoy! Place the candy canes into a ziplock bag and break them into 1/4 inch chunks or smaller. This can be done using your hand or a rolling pin. Melt your chocolate of choice (white, milk, dark) in a pan or boiler. At this point, add 3/4 of the candy can bits to the chocolate mix. Pour the mixture onto a lined cookie sheet. (you can use foil, wax paper or parchment paper.) Once the mixture is poured evenly onto the sheet, put the remaining peppermint candy bits on top of the mix. Put the cookie sheet into the fridge and allow to cool completely. Once it is cooled completely, remove from fridge and break the mix into pieces.
