How Do You Make Pepperidge Farms Milano Cookies?
• Set and preheat the oven at 325 degrees F. • Get a large bowl and put the softened, salted butter and sugar in. Cream both ingredients at a medium speed. • Add the flour and vanilla extract in the bowl. At a low speed, blend all ingredients together. • Create one inch balls from the dough and roll them out to become two inch “logs” or rectangles with curved corners. • Place each piece on an ungreased cookie sheet at two inches apart from each other. • Bake the cookies for about 17 to 19 minutes. Cool the cookies on a cooling rack or paper bags. • Use a double boiler to melt the chocolate chips and tablespoon of butter. If you don’t have a double boiler, you can use a microwave and stir every 30 seconds until completely melted. Set the chocolate aside for it to cool down. Take one of the cookie “logs” and spread some chocolate on it. Place another cookie on top (as if you’re making a cookie sandwich).
