Add chicken to the pot and continue cooking until the outsides of the chicken appear cooked. Add tomatoes, water, chili sauce, chili powder, salt, ground ginger, and crushed red pepper. Cook on medium heat until boiling. Turn heat down. Stir peanut butter into mixture and return to a boil. Once the stew has reached a boil, turn the heat to low and simmer the mixture for an hour.
