How Do You Make Peanut Butter Fudge?
When most people think of fudge, chocolate comes to mind. However, a welcome change for candy lovers is peanut butter fudge. Many recipes abound for making peanut butter fudge, but by keeping it simple, you’ll find yourself making it more often, since it doesn’t take too much time or effort. Step 1 Combine 2 cups sugar and 2/3 cup evaporated milk in a pan. Mix until sugar is mostly dissolved. Step 2 Bring milk and sugar mixture to a boil and continue boiling for five minutes over medium heat. You don’t need to stir the mixture while it is boiling. Step 3 Remove pan from heat and add 1 cup peanut butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 jar of marshmallow cream. Stir until smooth. Step 4 Pour fudge into an 8-inch, buttered baking dish. A glass dish will be easier to clean. Step 5 Allow fudge to cool, then cut it into squares. Smaller squares are better as this fudge is very rich. Step 6 Store the peanut butter fudge in an airtight container.
