How Do You Make Peanut Butter Candy Balls?
When the craving strikes for something sweet and creamy, instead of running to the store, grab a few ingredients found in most pantries and create your own delicious treat. These take minutes to make and even less time to devour. This is a great recipe to make with children. Combine peanut butter, honey, chocolate chips or M&M’s, powdered milk, vanilla and coconut in a large mixing bowl. Make sure all ingredients are mixed together well. Candy tastes just as good if you choose to leave out the chocolate chips, M&M’s and/or coconut. Sometimes the powdered milk does not mix in all the way, but don’t worry, in the rolling and cooling process it finishes dissolving into the peanut butter. Roll into approximately 1-inch balls. This process helps mix the ingredients more and helps them stick together. Place the balls on a wax paper covered cookie sheet and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. This recipe makes about 50 balls. Store in the refrigerator, covered.
