How Do You Make Patterned Paper From Dingbats?
Use dingbat fonts to make custom background papers. Step 1 Locate a Dingbat font that you like. (Dingbat fonts are fonts comprised of symbols or images rather than letters.) You may have one on your computer that you’d like to use (such as Wingdings), or you can search online for free fonts to download and install. Step 2 Choose a symbol or symbols from the font, and type them in Microsoft Word or another similar word processing program. Resize them the way you want them. Type them over and over until you have filled the page. (It helps if you go into your page setup and make the page margins as small as possible first.) Step 3 Select the entire page of “text,” and change the font color. Unfortunately, the options are probably somewhat limited, but you can make some fun monochromatic papers.
