How Do You Make Pasta With Meatballs And Sauce?
One of the most popular dinner time meals is spaghetti and meatballs. Once in a while I like to switch the spaghetti for a different type of pasta. My favorites are ziti or penne. To complete your Italian meal, serve a tossed salad and garlic bread. To make the meatballs, combine hamburger, onion, egg, salt and pepper and parmesan cheese. Mix in bread crumbs until the hamburger mixture can be formed into meatballs. There are a couple of different ways you can cook the meatballs. You can fry them, bake them or cook them in the sauce. I like to fry them over low heat until they are browned and then finish cooking them in a pot of sauce. Heat the sauce until it comes to a simmer. Continue simmering until the meatballs are cooked through. In the meantime, cook the pasta of your choice. Spaghetti, penne and ziti are all great choices. When the pasta is cooked, drain. Put pasta on a platter and pour sauce over the top. Serve with the meatballs, a tossed salad and garlic bread.
