How Do You Make Paper Origami Elephants?
You can make paper origami elephants in several different ways. By incorporating different paper colors and patterns, your elephant will appear just as elaborate as those of expert origami practitioners. By working on the elephant’s head and body separately, assembly is made easier and will also give you the opportunity to incorporate a pattern insert. Step 1 Fold one origami paper square on the diagonal and crease. Unfold the square. Take each corner and fold on an angle toward the center crease line. You will have a kite-like form. This is the beginning of the elephant’s head. Note that the pattern you want to show will remain on the outside while you fold. Step 2 Take the bottom tip where the paper folds meet and fold up toward the opposite tip. Fold the upper tip back toward you approximately 1/2 inch. The trunk will begin to form.
