How Do You Make Paper Bag Reindeer Puppet For Toddlers?
Christmas is a wonderful holiday to teach toddlers about making crafts. Creating little projects help toddlers feel involved with Christmas activities, during a time when adults are busy finishing tasks in preparation for the “Big Day.” Making a paper bag puppet in the shape of a reindeer adds an element of fun for young children during this special time. Place the bag with the folded bottom face up and on top. Fold the bottom two edges at an angle to form the reindeer’s face. Trace your toddler’s hands on construction paper. Cut out the shape along your traced lines. Glue hand shape “antlers” to the back of the reindeer’s head. Place the thumbs side-by-side to give it a more realistic look. Draw eyes, a nose and a mouth for the reindeer’s face. Help develop your children’s fine motor skills with simple tasks like using a glue stick. If they show interest, have them paste googly eyes or ones made from construction paper as a substitute for drawn eyes.
