Making paper autumn flowers is a fun way to celebrate this beautiful, yet changeable season. Everything that is needed to create an autumnal craft can be found at any paper supply or arts and crafts supply store. This seasonal craft can be accomplished independently by children ages 4 and up. Step 1 Layer the tissue papers. Using a pair of child-friendly scissors, help the child cut out squares of tissue paper roughly 8 inches wide by 10 inches long. Older children can attempt to cut out the squares on their own. Chose colors that are typical of the autumn season, such as red, orange, yellow, purple, and green. Once 5 or 6 are cut, stack them on top of each other, making sure that they are neatly stacked.
