How Do You Make Paper Airplanes That Flip?
In order to make paper airplanes that flip, you need to endow them with certain aerodynamic characteristics. This is not difficult as long as you understand certain principles of aviation. Paper airplanes that flip must have large wings so that they fly slower and use air currents to perform their aerial maneuvers. Fold a piece of 8 1/2 inch by 11 inch paper in half along the long side. Make sure that the two 8 1/2 inch edges are lined up perfectly before you make the fold. This will be the center fold. Take one corner and fold outward to the center fold you just made. Make the same fold with the opposite corner. This will form a downward facing triangle projecting from the center fold. Grab one of the corners along the center fold and fold it down to the point of the downward facing triangle you just made. Repeat the same fold with the other center fold corner. Once you have completed both folds, unfold them so your project appears the same as the end of step 3 except for the new fold
