How Do You Make Origami Barnyard Animals?

0

One of the best parts about origami is that you have boundless possibilities for creation. Because paper is the sole material that you use, cost is almost never an issue when creating origami figures. For example, you can make zoos filled with animals, schools filled with children and teachers, gardens full of flowers and forests full of different types of trees. You can also make farms full of barnyard animals. Kids can build their collection of animals each day, first starting with a couple standard animals found around a farm. Turn your square paper so that lays in front of you like a diamond. Fold it in half horizontally, making a crease through the center of the diamond. Unfold the piece of paper. Fold the right side in to the center line. Press down and make a firm crease. Repeat with the left side. You now have what looks like a kite or a skinnier diamond. Fold the right corner of the kite slightly past the center line. Crease into place. Repeat with the left corner of the kite.
