This homemade organic soap not only cleanses but gently moisturizes, unlike harsh commercial liquid soaps. It’s quick and easy to make and all the ingredients are readily available at any health food store. Bring 4 cups of distilled water to a rolling boil. Turn the heat down so that the water continues to simmer. Make a tea by adding 3 heaping tbsp. of the dried chopped soapwort to the pan of water. Simmer the tea for 20 to 25 minutes and remove it from the heat. Add 1 tbsp. of the organic virgin coconut oil to the tea. Stir well.
