How Do You Make Organic Dirt With Fishing Worms?
Tired of paying for dirt? Make your own organic dirt with fishing worms and a few left overs. It generally takes the worms about 3 months to turn the materials into dirt, so start now, and you will have rich dirt ready for planting by spring! Every day you should save your used coffee grounds. Keep them in an old coffee container until full. Also, instead of throwing away your egg shells, you can add them to the container. Your compost pile can be a large container with a lid that has holes if you have a small area on your back deck, a specific spot on the side of your yard, or an unused fower bed. To get started, in your chosen compost pile outside, throw in one shredded newspaper and an equal amount of leaves. Mix together, then add coffee grounds and egg shells.
