How Do You Make Or Select A Good Teachers Gift?

What do you get for a teacher to show how much you appreciated what she has done for your child during the school year? A good teacher’s gift does not have to be expensive. If fact, it is probably best if it is not expensive. But it should show that your value what the teacher has done for you. If you have time, you might want to have your child plant a seed (a flower, an herb, even a vegetable) in a pot, water it and let it grow for a month or two. Then the child can present it to the teacher with a note along the lines of this: “Thank you for helping me grow.” Several times, I have made a little note pad for a teacher. I’ve taken some small bit of my child’s artwork and taped it to a sheet of white paper. Then I’ve had my child write in her handwriting at the top of the page, “A Note from Mrs. XX.” Finally, we took the page to a print shop and had them make a bound pad of note paper (about 5 x 7). It cost only about $5 for a pad of 50 notes personalized with the teacher’s name. Baked
