This keeps dust from building up, which can cause hardwood floors to look dull. Fill a spray bottle 1/4 of the way with a polyurethane cleaner. Polyurethane cleaners leave a shine on hardwood floors without leaving behind an oily residue. Fill the rest of the spray bottle with water. Spray the solution all over the hardwood floor.
