Step 3 Pour 4 cups of fresh water over the soaked nuts. Step 4 Transfer the soaked oats and soaking water–or nuts and fresh water–to a blender. Add the sweetener, and blend on “puree” for 3 to 6 minutes. Step 5 Line the colander with two layers of cheesecloth and set it over a bowl.
