How Do You Make No-Sew Curtain Panels?
Making your own curtains can be a great design choice and cost effective. Some people would love to make there own curtains but they do not know how to sew. Now with new technology you can make curtain panels without sewing. Fusible web tape can be purchased at at fabric or craft store and can be ironed on to make curtains. Step 1 Measure your window and decide what length of curtain you would like to make. Take your fabric and cut it to the desired length leaving two to four inches for a curtain pocket and two to six inches for a finished hem, if desired. While you are cutting your fabric take your iron and turn it on high heat. After cutting, lay the fabric on your ironing board. Step 2 Take your fusible tape and lay it across your fabric about two to four inches from the top. Take the remaining fabric that is above the tape and fold it down so it rests on top of the tape.
