How Do You Make No Sew Back Slipcovers For Folding Chairs?
No-sew slipcovers for the backs of folding chairs are easy to make. This project requires simple measuring, cutting and ironing, and will take no more than 15 minutes to complete. The finished slipcover will add an elegant touch, whether you’re covering a roomful of chairs for a special occasion or just one chair. Place the folded chair on a piece of cardboard and trace around the back, starting and ending just above the seat. Draw another line on the cardboard one inch outside the first. Cut along this line to make a pattern. Cut two pieces of fabric using the cardboard pattern. Place the fabric pieces on your ironing board with their right sides together. Fuse the fabric pieces together using 3/8-inch fusible iron-on web tape along the outside edges. Clip the curves by cutting into the seam allowance halfway. This will help to prevent the seam from splitting. Press under 1/4 inch on the bottom edge, then press under 3/8 inch. Fuse the hem using the iron-on web tape. Turn the slipcove
