How Do You Make Natural Toothpaste & Deodorant?

0

Many Americans begin their day by taking a shower, brushing their teeth and putting deodorant under their arms. These personal care products are often filled with chemicals and products that many people would rather not put in or on their bodies. Commercial deodorants contain products such as aluminum derivatives, talc, which is considered a cancer-causing agent by the International Agency for Research on Cancer, and silica, which can irritate the skin. All-natural, homemade deodorant and toothpaste can be made with ingredients that are very easy to obtain. Mix 1/2 cup of baking soda and a pinch of table salt in a small mixing bowl. Pour 1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide and 1 dropper full of peppermint oil into the bowl and stir. Mix the ingredients until they are blended together well and you have created a paste. If the consistency seems too thick, add a few drops of hydrogen peroxide. Place the mixture into a jar with a lid. Use the toothpaste twice a day. Grate the zest, or the outer peel
