This natural cleaning scrub is a great way get the job done and it’s kind to your nose. Use it to clean your sinks, tub, dishes, and I even use it on my flat top stove. Combine dried herbs or spices of your choice into a food processor or mortar and pestle. Grind about one minute in food processor or one to two minutes in mortar and pestle. Note: You will get a finer grind using a mortar and pestle. Combine ground herbs or spices and baking soda in your storage container and stir or shake until the ingredients are well mixed. If you are using essential oils, now is the time to add them. Mix the oils into the baking soda very well so that the oils don’t clump. If you need to make a more abrasive scrub, add salt at the end or while cleaning. Morton Course Kosher salt works well.
