Naruto is a Japanese comic (manga) that chronicles the adventures of Naruto Uzumaki who aspires to be the top ninja in his village. Its popularity has spawned novels, movies, animated series, games and music CDs, as well as English-language versions in the United States. As with much Japanese popular artwork, the distinctive style of the characters make them a popular choice for avatars, which are online representations of users displayed on social sites, emails and chat rooms.
