How Do You Make Music Box Music?
Music boxes have been around for years. Everybody has a memory of a special music box as a child. With the increased popularity of do-it-yourself projects, handmade music boxes are making a comeback and are creating even more special memories because they can now be personalized. Making a music box with these simple steps results in a lovely memento, home décor piece or the perfect stand alone gift. Step 1 Open the music mechanism and unscrew the crank from the music box mechanism. Step 2 Place the mechanism inside the box and position the mechanism in the bottom of the box where it will be convenient to drill a hole. Step 3 Using the side of the mechanism with the screw protruding outward, hold the mechanism in the box to mark the spot where a hole will need to be made. Once you have marked the spot, remove the music box mechanism. Step 4 Make a hole in the box where marked.
