How Do You Make Mud Pie With Chocolate & Powdered Sugar?

0

There are many variations on how to make a mud pie, but this recipe uses chocolate and powdered sugar. Mud pies can be made as a pie (using the cookies to make a crust), by mixing the cream and the cookies together, or by layering the cookies and the cream mixture. No matter how a mud pie is made, it is a great dish to bring to any gathering and is always the first to go. Cream together the butter, cream cheese and powdered sugar. Whisk chocolate pudding in a separate bowl with milk until very thick. Whip the whipping cream with a whisk in a third bowl until thick. Add the whipped cream to the creamed butter, cream cheese and powdered sugar mixture. Add the pudding. Layer the crushed cookies and pudding mixture in a serving bowl until it is full. Sprinkle more cookies on top to finish.
