How Do You Make Mosaic Art Tiles Or Hand Painted Dishes, Crafts, Beads, Jewelry?
The art of mosaics is getting HOT and you’ll learn how to create your own mosaic tiles, hand painted magnets or even jewelry using my tools. It’s as easy as doodling with crayons but it’s adult fun. If you have a toaster oven or a home oven, you’re good to go. Let’s get painting! Start with an oven proof piece (most nowadays are). In my use of glass and china, I’ve found most handle the baking stage just fine. If you get breakage, make mosaic tiles! Make sure your piece is free of dust, dirt, grime, soil, body oil. Hand wash, rinse and dry completely and do a quick swipe over with alcohol on a cotton ball (using the alcohol is not necessary but almost guarantees a clean work surface). Paints are non toxic and water soluble. Let’s create!
