How Do You Make Molds For Stepping-Stones?

Stepping-stones can be used in the garden or to create walkways throughout your landscaping. You can create your own simple square stepping-stones by using a mold. A few pieces of wood, nails and a hammer is all you need to make your molds. Because you’ll be pouring cement into these molds, they do not have an infinite life span. They will, however, hold up through several uses. Cut four pieces of wood each measuring 3 1/2 inches in width and 12 inches in length. You can use inexpensive lumber for this project. Your lumber should be 1/2-inch-thick plank. Cut a square measure 11 inches by 11 inches for the bottom piece. This can from any sheet of lumber, but should be approximately 1/2 inch thick. Nail one length of wood to the bottom piece, leaving one inch from the bottom of the 12-inch length. The bottom piece should be secured to this piece with a 1-inch space beneath and 2-inch space above. Repeat step three to install the other three pieces. This creates your box. Nail the corners
