The pros and cons of moist and dry cat food are a matter of debate among veterinarians. Moist or canned cat food is inherently more appealing to a cat’s senses and more nutritional. Dry food promotes good dental health in cats, is easier to store, and is high in fiber. Dry food is also less expensive. Some cat owners make their own moist food out of dry.
