How Do You Make Mint Dog Biscuits For Fresh Breath?
Have you ever tried snuggling up with your pooch, only to end it mid-smooch, due to the dreaded doggie breath? Unfortunately, it won’t go away on its own and BreathSavers or Altoids won’t cut it. You have to work at sweet-smelling breath for Rover. The following recipe contains charcoal, mint and parsley, which are all safe ingredients for your dog–and will all help to combat halitosis. • Makes about 2 dozen biscuits. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Grease the baking sheet. A little bit of the canola or vegetable oil will work fine. Combine flour and charcoal in the bowl. Stir in the egg and oil and mix well. Add the milk and mix well. You may find it easier to mix the batter with your hands instead of a spoon. Stir in the mint and parsley. Drop tablespoonfuls approximately 1 inch apart on the baking sheet. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool thoroughly and refrigerate in the airtight container.
