How Do You Make Mexican Taco Casserole?
This casserole can be prepared the night before and baked just before serving. Just pop in the oven and you have a delicious meal ready to serve! Ingredients: 1 pound of Ground Beef 2 fresh tomatoes, chopped lettuce 1 c. black & green olives sliced 2. cups Feta Cheese, 1 cup Monterey jack cheese , shredded Sour cream, sliced jalapeno, salsa, tortilla chips (optional) 1 can red kidney beans, rinsed and drained 2 onions, chopped 1 clove of garlic 1 teaspoon chilli powder 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes salt & pepper olive oil or sunflower oil Cook your ground beef, garlic, and onion until the beef is fully cooked and the onions are soft. Season with your chilli powder and red pepper flakes. Add salt & pepper. Then, add kidney beans. Cover and cook on medium heat for about 10 minutes. Now, lay all the ingredients in your casserole dish. Crunch up some tortillas chips (maybe one or two cups worth) and fold in the meat ingredients and the feta cheese.
