How Do You Make Mexican Salsa Recipe Like The Pros?
This recipe is my personal adaptation of Burt Wolf’s salsa recipe in his book “What’s Cooking.” Over the years, I have changed it according to what I had on hand in my kitchen or in my garden. My husband and son, who like things spicy, really love this recipe. I bet it will be a favorite at your house, too! Peel tomatoes by immersing each in boiling water for 15 seconds, then slipping the skin off. Cut in half horizontally, remove seeds if desired and chop according to preference (1/4″ or so). Wash and dry bell pepper and jalapeno peppers. Cut in half length-wise and remove membrane and seeds using tip of knife. Chop and add to tomatoes. Jalapeno should be chopped finely. Peel and chopped onions and garlic. Garlic should be chopped very finely. Add to other vegetables. Wash, spin dry and chop cilantro leaves coarsely to make about 1/2 cup. Add this to vegetables, also. Add vinegar, coriander, salt and black pepper to taste. Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator while flavors d
