Masks are a way for young children to do imaginative play, turning into someone—or something—they’re not. When you make masks with young children, you have to pay attention to their ability level. For example, young children may not yet be able to properly use scissors. Because of this, you may need to do a lot of prep work to get the craft ready for your child. Whether you use glue, markers or paint, you can help your child make a mask. Prepare a mask base. Young children will not be able to cut the eyes, nose and mouth out of a mask.
