How Do You Make Marinade For Grilled Chicken Fajitas?
Here’s a great recipe to make marinade for chicken fajitas. Purchase 1 pound of boneless skinless chicken breasts (to serve 4). Trim of any fat or gristle and rinse in cold water. Place on firm surface such as cutting board and pound flat with meat mallet. Mix marinade in a shallow glass baking pan: 2 tablespoons olive oil, 2 tablespoons hot pepper sauce, 1 tablespoon lime juice, 2 cloves of minced garlic, 2 tablespoons honey, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, 1 teaspoon ground black pepper, 2 teaspoons paprika. Mix well. The mixture should resemble a paste consistency. Place flattened chicken breats in shallow pan and thoroughly coat with the marinade paste. Refrigerate the marinating chicken for 2-4 hours. Grill chicken on a hot grill (450 degrees) for about 6-7 minutes per side and until no longer pink. Remove from grill and allow to cook only slightly, then slice into diagonal strips. Serve with tortillas, grated cheese, avocado, salsa and other fajita condiments.
