How Do You Make Marble Floors Shine?
Marble is a high-end flooring choice and is quite expensive to purchase and have installed. If you have marble flooring in your home, you probably want to keep it in good condition. If you have noticed an overall dullness or concentrated lack-luster spots on your floor, you may want to consider learning a quick way to bring the shine back to your floors and get the best use of your beautiful floor. Fill a mop bucket with a gallon of warm water and a tablespoon of ammonia. Use your mop to mop small sections one at a time with the ammonia and water mixture. Use clean dry cloths to dry each small section after you have mopped it. Do not allow any water or ammonia to remain on the floor longer than a few minutes. Apply a marble polish according to the product label instructions. Most polishes will require you to apply a light layer with one cloth and buff it out with a new clean cloth. Repeat this process any time your floor starts to lose its shine.
