How Do You Make Maracas Out Of Rice, Beans And Paper Bags?

0

Most kids especially like making items from things found around the house. You can help your kids express their artistic side by making maracas out of rice, beans and paper bags. This is a very simple project you and your kids will enjoy doing together. You don’t need many materials and they’re fun to make and shake when you’re done. Gather the materials together before you begin. You only need two brown paper bags, some rice, beans, rubber bands, markers and colored tape to make and decorate your maracas. Decorate your maracas with a festive appearance. Use the markers to draw fun designs all over the top area of the paper bags. Open one bag and fill it with rice. When you make maracas out of rice, beans and paper bags, roll, twist and scrunch the bottom portion of the bag together to make a handle, and secure it with a rubber band. Fill the other bag with beans to get a different sound than the bag filled with rice. Make sure to roll and twist the bottom of the bag to form the handle
