In World of Warcraft, there are hundreds of commands for your character to act on. Typing these commands out can be time-consuming, especially in the middle of a battle. Setting up macros for the commands you use often can help save time. A macro creates a command shortcut by assigning the command to a clickable icon that you can store with other commands at the bottom of the game screen. Rather than typing out the command or searching for it in a menu, you can simply click the macro’s icon to carry out your desired command. Open World of Warcraft and log in as the character you wish to create macros for. Access the macro window by typing “/macro” in the command field at the bottom of the screen or go to the main menu and click on “Macros.” There will be two tabs at the top of the macro screen.
