How Do You Make Macaroni And Cheese (Baked)?
Everyone seems to love macaroni and cheese especially my family. This is my signature dish which is definitely a crowd pleaser. Precook the macaroni shells (al dente). Drain and set aside. Grate the pound of extra sharp cheddar cheese and set aside. Empty the entire jar of cheese whiz into a saucepan and add 2 cups of whole milk. Simmer until the cheese is blended and has no lumps. Take the cooked shells and place in either a very large bowl or big pot and add 1/3 cup of flour and mix with shells until they are dusted with the flour. Add a layer of shells to large baking pan enough to cover the bottom of pan. Then add a layer of cheddar cheese and some of the cheese whiz sauce. Continue to layer shells and cheese and sauce until pan is almost full. If any remaining cheese whiz sauce pour the rest onto the shells. Once the pan is 3/4 full pour additional milk over macaroni and cheese until shells are completely covered at the top of the pan. Take butter and cut into pieces and stick the
