Liquid lavender soap is a versatile personal cleanser, which can be used as a face soap, body wash and shampoo. The soap won’t dry out delicate skin or cause hair to feel brittle like other soaps. The natural essential oil leaves a relaxing scent of lavender that lasts all day long. The liquid lavender soap is chemical-free and is great for people with sensitive skin. Grate the bar of soap or chop it into small cubes. Pour the soap shavings/cubes into the bowl. Pour 2 ½ cups of water into the bowl and stir well. Heat the soap and water mixture in the microwave at 50 percent power for 45 seconds. Remove the bowl from the microwave. Stir the soap and water mixture. Place the bowl back into the microwave and heat the mixture at 10-second intervals until the mixture liquefies. Do not overheat. Remove the liquid soap from the microwave. Stir the glycerin and four to six drops of the lavender essential oil into the liquid soap. Keep stirring until the mixture becomes cool to the touch. Pour
