How Do You Make Lemonade Drink Mix Taste Like Fresh Squeezed?
Do you love the taste of fresh squeezed lemonade but hate those lemonade drink mixes. They just don’t taste the same. I have a recipe for making lemonade with the drink mix and it tastes as good as fresh squeezed. Roll the lemons with the heal of your hand on a kitchen counter top. This makes it a little easier to get the juice and pulp out. Cut lemons in half cross ways, not end to end. Remove as many seeds as possible with a spoon or fork. Prepare your lemonade drink mix as directed for a gallon of lemonade except only use 1/2 gallon of water. More will be added in a later step. Squeeze lemons into mixture making sure you get the pulp from the lemon in also. Cut up lemons and add to mixture. Give a little more flavor. Finish filling with water to make 1 gallon. Add sugar to your taste. Mix well. Poor into ice filled glass and there you have it.
