How Do You Make Laundry Smell Like Lavender, Naturally?

For those who have sensitive skin to chemicals found in commercial dryer sheets, you may find this article helpful. A muslin bag filled with fragrant lavender buds placed in the dryer with your laundry is a nice alternative. To make a lavender laundry sachet you will need lavender buds and a muslin bag. If the local craft store does not carry these items you may purchase them online. You may contact me through this site if you like. Simply fill the muslin bag 1/2 way full with the lavender buds. Tie the bag closed (I tie with 2 knots) so you won’t end up with lavender scattered loosely in your clothes. Toss the lavender filled bag into the dryer with a load of laundry. When your clothes have dried, set the little bag aside until your next load. The bag may be used several times before discarding. See tips below.
